Hi Kulniz,

you are the master here. But why only that size ?

I like HQ pictures and a 8 mega pixel camera produces somthig like 2400x3200 (this is maybe a little bit to much).

But a better idea is to increase the compression of the jpg file to 75%. This does reduce the size of the file to 30-40% and normally you will not see a differnce !!!

Pictures in 250-600 kB are ok for me.

What do you think?
Funcouple
...how about we'll keep on doing photo sessions and U guy's will play with reducing size and rotate the product ... I heate Infraview when it comes to play with shrinking and all the compression stuff ... do U have a good program that U can recomend for that kind of work ??( just don't tell my about photo shop wink2.gif

I'm thinking that the best way resize images to 1200 pix. Why? Because the most peoples have a screen resolution 1024x860 pix. In this case we can see a full image on screen. If image size will be 2400 pix I will see only a half of image on screen.

The best software to working with images of course is PhotoShop. But that software is expensive at first and not easy to use at second. I think the best way for you use the simple software that shipped with your photo camera. Usually that software has functionality to resize and rotate images.

Regards,
ZipDriver.

First:
my screen is runnig at 1600:1200

Second:
So I do not like pictures in a much smaller size ...
... but I accept to fit a picture to that size (BUTTON: fit to screen)
when even at 1600:1200 the pictures are looking good wink.gif

THIRD:

I do not like viewing postage stamps (you understand)

and FORTH:
If you are collecting postage stamps, so do it...
